Berthold Schick & seine Allgäu6

Berthold Schick is a versatile musician, composer, and music educator who discovered his passion for music at an early age. His musical career began with instrumental training at the Musikverein Rot an der Rot, and after successful studies in Munich and Stuttgart, he gained valuable experience as an instrumentalist on international stages. One of the most influential periods in his career was his collaboration with "Ernst Mosch and his Original Egerländer Musikanten" from 1994 to 1999. In 1997, he founded his own music publishing company, Novas Musikverlag, and record label, Novas Music, through which he releases his works and albums. As the musical director of the Biberach City Youth Wind Orchestra from 2005 to 2019, he played a key role in developing young talent, increasing membership from 34 to 111. In 2006, he founded the band "Berthold Schick und seine Allgäu 6" and released five albums. Other projects such as the brass quintet "Novas Brass" and the alphorn ensemble "Berthold Schick und seine Alphornbläser" expand his musical diversity. Schick is also a sought-after instructor for brass and alphorn courses both nationally and internationally. Additionally, his experiences as an endorser contribute to the development of brass instruments at the Buffet Crampon Group.
