Fritz Moshammer is a trumpeter and composer based in Berlin. As a jazz and studio musician, he contributes to versatile projects and plays concerts in Germany and abroad. He currently tours as a trumpet player with various groups throughout Europe.
He has the privilege of working with major artists from all over the world. For example with Deep Purple - Live in Berlin (2022) and as a permanent member of the band Alvaro Soler.In 2016, he was invited by the German Federal Foreign Office to organize and play two concerts in New York with Till Brönner. In 2017, he performed with his new project Fritz Moshammers Perspektive at the German Federal President's Bürgerfest des Bundespräsidenten.
Fritz Moshammer composes for his bands Fritz Moshammer Quintett", Perspektive" and Parallelwelten Orchester". Perspektive" and "Parallelwelten Orchester", and is an active member of the Berlin jazz scene as well as a sought-after studio musician (most recently Malky - Where Is Piemont? ARTE TV Series Streetphilosophy" and several ARD and film productions.
Originally trained in classical music and awarded at the national music competitions Jugend Musiziert and Jugend Jazzt, he moved to Berlin in 2011 to study jazz trumpet with Prof. Gerard Presencer at the Berlin University of the Arts and completed his degree in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the Geman National Youth Jazz Orchestra and had the chance to work with John Hollenbeck, Jiggs Whigham, Niels Klein and the WDR Bigband.
He has played concerts in Ecuador, the United States, China, Russia, Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Poland and Croatia.
